I want my books published.

The review team are blocking my books with no reason. My account is being targeted maliciously. After sending numerous emails to the content review team, they have refused to respond to my emails. I was assured by the KDP customer support, my case is being handled, which I have been waiting for more than 2 days and nothing is being done to get my books published. I wrote a book on behalf of a client and it was published after 72 hours. That was when I realised nothing was wrong with my books after going through the content guidelines.

I ordered a set of these books - 5 each (author order not preview) in December. Seven of the fifteen were damaged with bent corners and were returned.

The 9x6 books had been crammed into a 9x6 box. I had to carefully cut the side of the box just to get the books out. What I discovered was damaged corners on most some quite severely. I got a refund.

In January, I tried again only ordering one each.

Before doing so I made a couple of changes (i.e. revision date to 2024). I got the order this week and was confident as they came in a padded envelope with plenty of room. Only one of the books was in a plastic bag inside the others looked like they were just tossed in.

Even still, the padded envelope should have been enough to protect them from damage.

When I opened the envelope and took out this set, I immediately recognized them as part of the same ones I had just returned.

The I Can Pray book had the most damage with the front corner being very bent. In addition, the other two, I Can Trust and I Can Love, did not reflect the minor revisions I had made. So, what I received are the same books I returned. This is very frustrating and disappointing.

I had hoped to order a large number that I could give away and/or sell, but I am having trust issues with the quality of printing and packing/shipping.

The representative I just spoke to about refunding my money and returning the books (again) said he would make a note to make sure someone was aware to remove the returned books and make sure the printed ones are the updated version.

Frustration #2 is that I can't find a direct line to get this note to AMZ KDP Publishing. If anyone does...please email me.

For the past few months I have been prepping a new book to publish with Amazon KDP services. This would be my fourth book published with them, and I also have a movie distributed through Amazon Prime.

In the months leading up to publication, I ordered 4 or 5 proofs to check various aspects including margins, layout and image behavior. A little background on me I have worked in publishing and printing most of my adult life, and am a graphic artist.
The images and layout got worked out in the first few proofs I had printed, everything was looking and behaving as expected. I published, and ordered 30 author copies. When I received the books, I quickly found many were misprinted the contrast of the misprinted books was not checked and almost all the pictures in the book were muddy and dark, very little detail showing.

Turns out 8 of the 30 books were unusable due to this printing error: 22 were perfectly fine.
I brought this up to Amazon KDP support, and waited nearly three weeks to hear something back, they would email me once a week to say the were investigating. Three weeks into that I simply asked them to explain to me why it was taking a three week investigation to figure out if the books were bad and they needed to reprint 8 books. Within a very short time that morning I heard back that that they investigated and found no errors.
I was dumbfounded. I sent pictures of the printing differences again.

They repeated nothing was wrong; it was within acceptable variance.
I went back and forth, shaking my head as I typed, losing my patience for their inability to look at the issue and NOT see they needed to reprint these 8 $3 books. I paid for 30, I got 22 I could use almost 25% of my order my money was wasted.
I escalated new guy claiming to be the first persons supervisor contacted me said the same thing. I immediately asked if this was an issue with HIS order, if would accept that and be happy with it. He said he saw my point, but still maintained the company line of it being acceptable variance.

I told him I was withdrawing my books and my movie from Amazon.
Then I was contacted by his supervisor who did nothing but repeat the same company line of there being no problem, the books would not be reprinted.
I was also blamed because the printers said my files were bad color images were mixed with black and white, and they should all be black and white.

Regardless of the fact that this issue was addressed in the proofing stage, and again 75% of the books printed okay. And also another book I published with Amazon KDP used the exact same type of images and files and had zero image issues with over a hundred books printed.
Attached are photos from the three books (the proofs, the good author copies, and the bad author copies), including images of the barcodes on the back pages showing that the two versions of author copies were printed on separate days, and they were printed at a different facility than the proofs.
Good god this was a no-brainer for anyone in the print business: a new day, a new shift, perhaps a new machine they neglected to check settings and the images suffered.
I have not received any reprinted books, nor a refund for the 8 misprints to this day.

Someone published my book and now is stealing my money for it only gave me one payment and it wasnt through Amazon and wasnt from the person who published my book they never gave me account access to anything not even the Amazon account just need help taking the book down

A bunch of people have purchased hard copies of my books and shown them to me. But I don't see any record of any hard copy sales on my account. Zero. They just...seem to be not reporting the sales and pocketing the money. Which is disheartening, because my pleas are being stonewalled. What do I do? This is bad news.

Preferred solution: I want my hardcopy book sales to SHOW UP on my sales report and I want to get PAID for them.

User's recommendation: Don't bother selling hardcopies. You won't get a dime. They won't show up on the sales report, and Amazon will just keep your money.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I received royalties for my book sales back in 2016.

My hard cover version of my published book was rejected and I did not have clear why? Need an agent to talk about it.

I published a full version of my biography published on KDP since 2022-23 in Spain with the editorial Letrame. I requested a hard cover and it was denied giving me a sift papers book at the last moment by Letrame. The editorial recommended me to published it myself in Amazon hard cover.

I did it last Wednesday. It was rejected by kdp with information that I did not understand why it was rejected.

I need to published it to do adds with it in a beautiful hard cover completing my bio set.

Even in English version am working with at the present. What is the problem with the Letrame cover? Was told that I can publishers it again using the same cover. I only added head noted as a extras from the Letrame manuscript.

It is mine as a author of Lágrimas y Amor, Memoria de una Dominicana Inmigrante en Nueva York.

All right are mine. Why reject me it?

Tell me clear though, I need to fix the problem, need my hard cover history published. Thank you for ask back.

HELP ACESSING MY KDP ACONT

Hi, I have a problem accessing my kdp account. I have tried emailing KDP 6 or 7 times but received no reply I have queries and questions regarding my self published books. There are some errors that need correcting but I am unable to change as the books have been published. Some of our books need their printing locations changed to the UK as some are having issues buying our book. If someone @ KDP can contact me via email I would be grateful as it seems inpossible to get any support from their customer services. Thanks Michael
